Chris and Steve spent some time yesterday afternoon working on the arrangement of I, Awake. They got more of the harmonies worked out and spent some time working on later sections of the song as well. This section’s finally getting to the point where they’re confident that they have the best possible arrangement of the material at hand, and the band hopes to nail everything down early next week in rehearsal.

Chris also spent the earlier part of this week reworking the song as a whole, adding another verse and chorus and working the new chorus into the song. He is currently working on a rough demo to play for the rest of the guys to work with, and hopes to get a good chunk of that done today.
