Falling Edge

The recording of keyboard parts for Minstrel in the Corner began last week as Steve laid down some tracks for the first few minutes of the song. A fair amount of time was spent just selecting the best patch to use, but we’ve kind of gotten used to that, and find that it’s worth it to take as much time is necessary to get the best possible sound for each individual part. Chris also began laying down the ghost tracks for the rest of the guitar parts in the song, so it won’t be long before everything’s ready to begin the monumental task of recording the drums for a song that’s 15 minutes long.
