The recording of Minstrel in the Corner is moving right along, with bass player Matt Broadbent completing his tracks last night. There were some great performances and equally great tones (along with a first take or 2) laid down. We’ll take a few days to get these tracks organized and roughly mixed, then recording for keyboards, guitar and vocals can begin.
Guitarist Chris Rupert and drummer Kevin Tetreault got together earlier this week and got a good deal of the drum parts for the intro of Dark Matter straightened out. This is turning out to be a really cool tune, and we’re looking forward to piecing the rest of it together. With most of Minstrel in the Corner now out of the way, the band will focus on completing the writing and arranging of The Lost Journal, Sex for Sale, and Dark Matter before starting the remaining 2 songs for the next album.
