We haven’t had much time to work on I, awake (the last song for the CD) over the past few weeks, as we’ve been busy rehearsing our existing material for an upcoming gig (the band plans to make an official announcement on this shortly).  We did get a chance to mess around with the intro earlier this week, however, and got some good ideas laid down for it. Everyone is now pretty excited about this next song and that intro in particular, because Jim and Kevin were both scratching their heads after listening to the guitar part Chris gave them. Having gone through it together really opened everyone’s eyes to possibilities for this section we hadn’t even imagined before. It’ll be interesting to see how that one actually ends up…
