After months of planning, arranging, and rehearsing we finally laid some drum tracks down for the first half of Final Dissent. I know that doesn’t sound like much, but you may remember from previous posts that this epic song is over 27 minutes long, so we’ve gotten a pretty big chunk taken care of. I’ve also been busy working on instruments for the other songs on the album, with plans to record vocals for Not Everyone’s Cup of Tea in the next week or two. Here’s where we’re at:

1. Arcane Knowledge – some backup vocals still left to record
2. Just One More Wish – finished
3. What Are You Waiting For? – finished
4. Not Everyone’s Cup of  Tea – some acoustic guitar parts, some keyboards, and vocals left to record
5. Whatever Happened to Christmas? – finished
6. Final Dissent – drums recorded for 1st half
