Back in the Day Guitar Recording Has Begun

Just taking a quick break from recording guitar parts for Back in the Day to let you know I’ve begun recording guitar parts for Back in the Day. Although I’m progressing well, I think it will take some time to get these recorded – there’s a lot of them and a lot of them are kind of intricate and will require more practicing (not to mention that the rhythm and time is so complicated on this song – just ask Rob; I got an earful about it more than once).

Back in the Day Bass Parts Done

Making good progress on Back in the Day! Got the bass parts recorded over this past weekend and the guitar parts should be ready to record soon too. Feels good to be getting back into a longer song after You Will Survive, even if it’s a ton more work to finish. Check back here for updates…

Chris Rupert of Falling Edge

We had a great session on this past Saturday and got all the drums recorded for Back in the Day (and it only took a few hours…). As usual, Rob gave a blistering performance and we got some great tracks. I’ve spent the last few days mixing them, and have already begun working on the guitar parts.
